So this chapter of Jenny and Josh's story begins with a wedding in Spokane, Washington on Febuary 25, 2006. A beautiful beginning to a life together. To celebrate our union we have decided on a more abstract interpretation of the word "honeymoon". Our trek across North America begins on the Mexican-American border town of Campo, CA (north and east of Tijuanan). There, fifty feet from Mexican soil, we start our thru-hike of the Pacific Crest Trail. This majestic trail stretches 2,658 miles from Mexico to Canada. Across this journey the total vertical elevation that will be climbed, not including hiking down, is 85 miles (450,800 feet). We have been planning this trip for at least nine months and this feat would not be possible without the support of all of our family and friends.
