The Alzheimer's Association is the world leader in Alzheimer research and support. With 25 years of experience, it is the first and largest voluntary health organization dedicated to Alzheimer's. The donor-supported, not-for-profit Alzheimer's Association provides reliable information and care consultation, supportive services for families, funding for dementia research, and influences public policy changes. Their Mission is 'To eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.'

I chose to raise money for the Alzheimer's Association because my grandfather suffered from Alzheimer's and I know it is a difficulty for many people and their families. My hope is to raise at least $5000, but more would be great!
